ETHICAL RECRUITING
VanBuskirk Legal Search follows the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Legal Search Consultants. We make every effort to:
  • Provide candidates and employers with the most accurate information known to VanBuskirk Legal Search

  • Refer candidates only to employers that have given prior authorization to VanBuskirk Legal Search, or where VanBuskirk Legal Search, based on previous communications with the employer, believes the employer would accept the referral

  • Submit resumes to an employer only with express authorization from the candidate

  • Respect confidentiality and treat as confidential all information supplied in confidence by a candidate, subject to our duties to the employer

  • Refrain from recruiting any attorney from the office of an employer in which we have made a placement for a period of at least 6 months following the placement of a candidate

  • Refrain from recruiting a candidate VanBuskirk Legal Search has placed while the candidate remains with the employer that paid a recruiting fee

  • Make all referrals which have been authorized by a candidate and inform the candidate of the results of those referrals in a timely manner
